2nd Quarter 2008 CMARC Meeting
Relocation Industry RFP's--
who, what, when, why, and how much$$$$
Remember the days when business was done on a hand shake? Then as more people each year graduated from law school, a hand shake with a contract to follow? Well those days are long gone. Now there are RFI's, RFQ's, RFP's, best and finals, site visits, and then maybe, just maybe, CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS! A panel of relocation, human resources and procurement experts will discuss the process, time and cost involved from all sides. This session is a must for all individuals involved in the relocation industry. It will provide a better understanding of the thought process of going out to bid and the selection process.

1st Quarter 2008 CMARC Meeting
For our 1st quarterly event of the 2008 season CMARC was honored to have Peter Hiro of Countrywide Financial and Cathy Bauman of Runzheimer International as guest speakers. Peter and Cathy gave us an insiders view of the past, present and future of the mortgage and real estate markets. This was a great opportunity to get a better understanding of how the real estate and mortgage markets will continue to challenge us in 2008 and beyond and how to develop strategies to cope with these challenges.

2nd Quarter 2007 CMARC Meeting
Thank you to everyone who attended our second quarterly meeting at Maggianos. A special thanks to David Oltman of Orion Moblity. whose presentation on new 2007 relocation tax laws was very well received. The topic of relocation taxes can certainly be a dry topic, but David did an excellent job of presenting the material - everyone learned something from the presentation. David presented several ways in which corporate relocation providers could save money - which we all apprecaite. There were many positive comments from everyone at the end of the presentation. David's power point presentation is available below.
